"I have two questions and I think I have an answer to the first one... Did Howard Dean approve of this.. I just can't believe that he did..." (.MP3)
Here's what Nevada Democratic Spokeswoman Kirstin Searer had to say:
"I would just say, a lot of people have questioned Howard Dean's decision to put paid staffers in rural areas that are traditionally red, but he's argued that if we're going to win the White House we have to reach out to everyone and this is kind of along the same train of thought." (.MP3)
Does Howard Dean endorse the Nevada State Democratic Party using his 50 state strategy as an excuse for cozying up to Fox?
Just in:
"This is about talking to voters, not a network," Dean said Thursday. "While the Fox News Channel rarely has coverage that is fair and balanced, we believe that Fox viewers, who are potential voters, should have the opportunity to see a debate between our candidates. These forums provide an important unfiltered opportunity for potential voters to see Democrats without the bias of the network."
But, wait.. In June of 2005, here's Howard Dean:
"My view is that Fox News is a propaganda outlet of the Republican Party and that I don't comment on Fox News." (The response drew applause from the room)
Where does Dean really stand on Fox hosting a Democratic debate. Inquiring minds...

Having had the personal chance to watch a rural Howard Dean rep at work, I say it's all a waste.
Faux news sucks. I have it programmed out of my cable selection.
So when do we get real leaders in the Nevada Dem Party? I'm tired of the wannabee repugs we've been dealing with.
