John Ensign on Hardball last night:
Chris Matthews: "Does anybody want to throw people (Illegal Immigrants) out who are already here?"
John Ensign: "I don't think we should throw people out who already here unless they commit a serious crime..."

Chris Matthews: "I have a simple plan, Senator. Tell me if I'm wrong. Everybody here is here - Anybody that comes here tomorrow has to go through these check with real ID cards, checkable IDs, they must be who they say they are or they can't work. Why don't you pass that bill tomorrow? Who would that offend?"
Senator John Ensign: "Well, I actually think that would be a good way to start."
